James 4:7, “Submit therefore to God.”

     There are three steps in getting rid of the enemies’ influence in our lives.  The first is submition.  We must place ourselves in the proper order under God.  There are all kinds of ways to submit and place yourself under someone's authority, but, in this case we are talking about someone who will voluntarily put there self under someone and serve them out of a desire to do so.  We were not put there under compulsion, but out of a desire to love Him and serve Him because He first loved us.  This is a submition that comes out of a heart of gratitude.  If we are going to take the steps necessary to get the evil influences out of our life, this has to start the process.  So, have you given your life to Jesus.  Is He your Lord and Savior.  Do you serve Him because you love Him?  He said, “if you love me you will keep my commandments.”  Are we obeying His word or just going through the motions?  These are hard questions we need to ask ourselves because the answer will determine our ability to stand against the evil in our lives.  So today, if you haven’t made the total commitment just take a huge step in your life and “Submit therefore, to God.”       God Bless,  Rusty
